London Arts Held shows and made publications for many emerging artists in London in the 1960s. The Gallery was also reknowned for its works by Picasso and surrealist and COBrA group shows. The greatest notoriety was when the gallery gave the first time exhibit of John Lennon’s print portfolio Bag One in 1970. The show opening was raided and the art confiscated in what turned into a legal battle over the right to display the art in public. The gallery owner was exonerated.
